Description
The circular medallion depicts a Roman soldier riding a horse in a dynamic pose. The rider holds reins and the horse is mid-stride. The medallion is bronze with inscriptions reading “VICTORIAE AUGUSTE.” Fine details are captured in the armor and horse. There is a small hole near the top. The imagery is in relief against the flat surface.
