The image depicts two full-length figures inside a room with a vaulted, wooden ceiling. The first figure, a standing woman, is depicted in profile and is elegantly dressed in a long, flowing gown with voluminous sleeves and a bodice. Her hair is styled elaborately on top of her head. Opposite her, a second figure, dressed in a cloak and elaborate head covering, is kneeling on the ground with hands clasped in front of her chest. Both figures appear to be concentrating on a distant point, with the standing woman pointing toward the horizon outside, visible through arched windows. In the background, beyond the room's arched windows, a picturesque landscape unfolds, consisting of a castle nestled amongst trees and rolling hills. The image is detailed with light and shading, adding depth and texture to the figures and the architectural details that frame them. On the right side, there is a small sculpted figure holding a snake wrapped around what appears to be a staff, standing on a pedestal.
